Boxing your shipment is essential to shipping items that are susceptible to damage or going overseas. Our experienced staff boxes over 400 pieces a year. We box pieces of 10 pounds to 25,000 pounds. Smaller boxes are constructed using kiln dried 2x4's and exterior grade plywood. Larger items are boxed using 2x6 or even 2x8 framing and exterior grade plywood. All items are secured to a wooden base using bolts of appropriate size and length for the weight of the shipment. Pieces that will be going overseas or being stored outdoors are fitted with a waterproof membrane before exterior grade plywood sheathing is applied.
